Nobody has commented on the fact that his back brake is on the left-hand lever. Yay! I live in Canada and I have to educate all my bike techs who - unless I give them a dire warning beforehand - invariably switch my brakes to front left and rear right.

I've ridden lots of single-track on a road bike with 700x23 racing slicks. It isn't ideal, but it isn't as stupid as this video makes it look. Just walk the slickest parts and you'll be fine.
