I started following dandy off road a long time ago and love their videos and adventures. I finally got to meet Brandi and Darren what wonderful people. they made me feel like we had been longtime friends. Just got a used 2016 Can Am 1000r and the motor sounds like it's workining to hard to get any speed. 4000+ RPM and only doing about 35 mph. Is this normal?

There is a fairly new product on the market that you should look at that may help you get around and keep moving. Its mobility device called the Zeen. It allows you to walk without falling and will also help you to get up.
