I struggle to pray...I grab quiet time when I'm driving but I always feel I'm asking for things..either protection for myself and family or advice about relationships jobs etc...I get stuck what else to say or my mind drifts off so I end up going back and apologising to the Lord for suddenly cutting the conversation short

I find it helpful to set aside alone time with God in the morning. Somewhere quiet and with no disruptions. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to pray and what to pray. It's good to pray for others and yourself. One of the things God spoke to me is to many people seek His hand and not His Face. Speak with God and not to God, speak to Him like you would a friend. Read Mathew Chapter 6: 7-13, this passage is about Yeshua teaching us how to pray. Each verse is what we need in our walk with God. Giving God reverence, (praise-worship) power, daily needs, forgiveness. protection and thanksgiving or acknowledgement of His Sovereignty. Continue reading that chapter and you will see if we as believers seek His Kingdom and His righteousness all these things shall be added unto us. Read Gods word and pray His word. Read Psalms and Proverbs everyday. (a chapter or two in between your other reading of the word) Open your Heart to the Holy Spirit, say it out loud, "I open my Heart to you Lord" and be quiet and listen for Gods voice. I know it sounds like a lot but once you start waking down that path it will become very natural and very rewarding because God will bless you. Amen

The only sign the "watchmen" all fall asleep to, is the one that actually matters. . "You can look up at the sky and know it's about to rain, but you cannot recognize what stands in front of you" "Tomorrow will come just like today has come, just as yesterday passed. It is but a sign. It means nothing other than judgment is coming to those wicked ones. It's nothing but a sign" And then the sky opens up and the door shuts. . "But lord lord!" As all the "watchmen" have fallen asleep at the one day that they were to stay awake for. They only day they will not watch and believe it "is the day!". . Is the day that He will come. Because all of them, have fallen asleep.

As an FYI: Matthew chapter 24 is not about the Gentiles and has nothing to do with the rapture, nothing, despite the perpetual promotion that it is about that; something someone somewhere in times past promoted, and others, without realizing the error passed along as truth. In Matthew 24 Jesus was talking to his apostles who each were Jews, who were asking Him about His return and the end of the ages. When the Bible was put into chapter and verse the people responsible for this section broke it up incorrectly. To go back and read it without preconceived bias we are then able to recognize that the following verse in the next chapter is actually a continuation of thought and Jesus is telling the disciples that no man knows the day or hour of the end of the heavens and earth. I can't say for certain about the purpose of the forthcoming eclipse, but I have a feeling it is for a divine purpose. I anticipate we will know all soon enough, And I believe we will seek the Lords protection, which I believe He will grant to those who seek Him in faith.

Also look into canned food, rice, dried beans and MRE's. Most can be purchased for much cheaper than freeze dried food.

Oh yea, I do have plenty of Rice and Beans. The freeze dried food was cheap to purchase a couple of years ago. I'm not sure what the cost is now, really haven't looked into it since then.
