He looked a me and grinning, said "demon piss". I knew Andy from our day job and he was a very kind and considerate guy. It's such a disbelief that he flipped out. This band was his baby and he worked very diligently to put on a very entertaining show. Since seeing Larger Than Life live, every time I hear a KISS song on the radio, I think of Andy, Jay, and the band.

He told me that people screamed in terror - nobody had ever before seen anything of its kind. It still a masterpiece. I can't stand it when people ridicule supposedly "primitive" special effects or old-fashioned, expository dialogue. The film is now 91 years old...simply amazing.
