❤ I was actually at this particular U2 concert that night. I am considered a crazy Depeche Mode fan, and attended Depeche Mode concert at T-Mobile Arena, the night before. When Bono started singing Personal Jesus, I figured Depeche Mode might be in the building. After the concert was finished, we started heading back to the room, in the Venetian Hotel. We were walking through the casino, and to my surprise going into a restaurant was Peter Gordeno, who's in Depeche Mode, of course, as a crazy Depeche Mode fan that I am, when I locked eyes on him, I naturally scream 10 octaves higher than my natural voice, saying, " DEPECHE MODE, CAN I TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU?" As he stared at me, like a deer in headlights, and I'm sure he noticed I was coming out of the U2 concert wearing a Depeche Mode shirt, he graciously said yes. A complimented his Bass playing the night before, and told him thank you for taking a picture with me! I must say that was a wonderful weekend for me! Thank you so much, for posting this video! I also would like to mention, that Bono is an absolute genius from another world. The way he started singing Personal Jesus, and then went back to the lyrics, about crucifying Jesus, was "Absolutely BRILLIANT"!

I’m guessing DM was at the show. DM played the night before in Vegas and Saturday was their off day. Usually Bono will sing a snippet of a song if the artist is in the audience.

The Sphere looks amazing for concerts like these. Somebody on another channel thought this will become the new standard for concerts where you are pairing visual images with the music. What a facility. The outside projections and images are super crazy. I have seen the eye, pumpkin, basketball and others. The Sphere is a technological marvel.

I think the best version of this song was performed in 1983 in a sort of a 'top of the pops' like studio,it was a very short length of the video. Only 2.40 or something

It was Luca on main vocals. He's a busker/street performer at Covent Garden, London, to be found during his gigs either in North Hall or in the Piazza in good weather
