Yeah Quixel has been pretty buggy with blender, I have the same issue, I recommend using the node wrangler addon built into blender, click control shift T on your keyboard with the Principled BSDF selected, it will bring up a folder browser, select the textures you want to import and click 'open' or something, it should set it up automatically. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l8yGrKWJnL7ZmIE.html Watch that, he explains the shortcut at 2:53

@@passion_proh-jects I use smoke assets from productioncrate, it’s a great website which is free/paid. Anywho I tracked the footage in AE, and I added the assets as 3D, this project was a ton of compositing, so I’d always recommend get messy with a adjustment layers and CC, hope this helps
