All Legends..really..what a line up
@nons8233 күн бұрын
That line up was so good, the most "cult" formation QotSA had.

Shit I didn't know Jon Theodore was on drums. Dude is an unreal BEAST! I loved his work on the Mars Volta records.

Best drummer they ever had. Yes, he is better than Thomas Pridgen (in a band) Fight me. Remind me, where is Thomas Pridgen now?

Yeah he defined that era of TMV by adding so much energy to those records

If you are not a Guitar/Bass player, you should know that at 21:05 starts one of the Most Difficult riffs ever made. You have to Slide Up and Down the frets on the respective A and E strings in perfect unison with each other WHILE Singing!! P. S. QOTSA IS GOD TIER MUSIC

I love Nick Oliveri and what Dave Grohl did to QOTSA best album, but this lineup is unbeaten. They are so tight, and it's so sad two of them passed away.
@spencerobrien47535 күн бұрын
I love all the albums up until villains. But there's something about this Kraut rock inspired early sound. Its generic but perfect

The most amazingly terrific lineup of the band. Rip Natasha and Mark ❤

Ive seen him live three times with QOTSA and once with The Mars Volta everytime i came away thinking. Ive never seen someone hit the drums so hard before. I dont know if its how he mics them up or his style or how hes just a virtuoso, but he astounds me.
@ignoblesavage55593 күн бұрын
Brother, a lot of his sound is somewhat MUTED. He hits too BIG, if that makes sense.
@jimihendrixx113 күн бұрын
Technique im guessing
@ignoblesavage55592 күн бұрын
@jimihendrixx11 technique, and natural strength (he's a pretty big guy)... also, I know for a fact that Homme & friends keep the drum sound levels down a bit, in order for listeners to hear their unique sounds.
