What is the purpose of putting the spices in cheese cloth? The recipe in the description box doesn’t mention that part. My hubby loves polish sausages so definitely going to try this! Love that you include Wade in the kitchen 💗 Such a good helper and so polite!

They’re both so cute but I fell in love with the Llama because he was a lot more docile. I love how furry alpacas are though.

Hello and fantastic training episode- I am just getting into pickling and heard you mention I could leave these jars on my counter? I thought I had to refrigerate? I am using quart Ball canning jars and cooking eggs,onions and sausage then filling jars with cooked Apple cider vinegar, 1/2 tablespoons of pickle seasoning with a tablespoon of salt - not a fan of the salty flavor but do I need It for preservation? Maybe what I’m doing is good enough to put these jars in my cabinet. Thank you for your help BobbyD🙏

My Nan used to make a lot of homemade pickles and she had this funnel specifically for mason jars, it sat in the opening but was significantly bigger on top to make pouring and ladling into the jars a breeze. Would work awesome for your brine spillage🤣. I think they are called canning funnels
