Props to the best live music camera man on the planet. That is some excellent footage that musicians in particular want to see.

How can someone play different licks one after another? 😰 Mayer’s talent is beyond me, to be honest 🙏🏻. His phrasing, timing, and feel are as smooth as butter… Every time I see him play, my own playing feels like it’s in dire straits… 😷

I love that John doesn't like playing this song live. And it's not because he hates it, but he understands that sometimes things are better left alone. It's like your grandmas fine china dishes. You look at them in a display cabinet at her house and wonder out loud why she has them if she doesn't use them while she tells you not to touch because they're precious And at the same time, I'm really glad that he plays the song more often now, because Born and Raised is an album that has hit after hit after hit, it's easy for a non single that comes so late in the album to get lost. Having it be more prominent (especially in his current acoustic tour) helps more people hear what is honestly a top 10 JM track

The whole okay JM played but now Sharkey is going to show what really is up pisses me off royaly. John and Sharkey both approached their solos the same, but Mayer was better. That neo soul shit doesn't fool me.

You know a performance is truly great when the audience makes unconscious noises when they hear a sound that reverberates with them.
