I listened to Johnny Otis, and Bill Haley and his comets when I was a teenager in Long Beach, California in the 50's and later on Chuck Berry. Who was first is anyone's guess it seems as if they all kind of melted together. I'm still rocking at a young 84.

Oui il a été un des promoteurs de cette musique.Ses introductions à la guitare sont légendaires. Mais il ne faut pas oublier Louis Jordan ou Ruth Brown qui ont été des précurseurs sauf que leurs musique était classée comme Rythm 'N' Blues . Le R'N'Roll des noirs était du R'n'blues , comme Fats Domino , Little Richard , ou même Chuck Berry.
