Sophie, they cannot possibly expect you to pack the Coach bag in the exact same way when you're returning it, it is simply not possible. You need to tear off all that plastic in order to adequately evaluate the bag, so as a customer you have no way to avoid that and keep the "original packaging" intact. As long as you ship it back in NEW condition and with original accessories (dustbag, etc.) - you're good.

Recently I’ve shopped at affordable discount stores and mid-range brands. Surprisingly all designs looked the same. Take off the brand, it’s hard to tell them apart. I thought maybe the luxury brands are different. But no, as I opened my fashion apps, I was again surprised to find a lot of similar designs, only with a better quality/fitting and a huge price tag. It really made me question - what’s the point of buying designer fashion, if it’s boring in design and so much overpriced? Why is fashion so boring now? Would be great to know your thoughts!

Oh goodness, no good whatsoever will come from destroying your Dior pieces, you bought them with your hard earned money, and it’s not the bags’ fault. I will still use my Dior pieces - I possibly just won’t buy any further bags until situations change xx❤

My thoughts on this are : they have have different factory for different products. That how LVMH do. But I doubt that the lady Dior are made in those factories. Specially the ones which implement embroidery ect …. What do you think ? 🤔

I'm not into logos, but there's a certain kind of "playful use" of logos I love where it creates a nostalgic feeling. I use to work a lot with importing / helping people figure out how to import harajuku fashion from Japan and now I find wearing those brand logos really makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Listening to you talk about the Juicy bag sort of reminds me of this feeling; a call back to an idea, a concept; a place in time. Juicy IS a vibe and you look really happy wearing it.

To add to the discourse, my grandma was a seamstress at Hugo boss and made like $5 an hour. She was an immigrant and had no skills other than sewing and her English was very poor. The factory she used to work at has since been outsourced (LOL!) and she has retired like 15 years ago.

When I was 12 my mom took me to the LV on Bloor Street in Toronto. I had my fake LV from *esluxy* on my arm and thought I was cute. The sweet sales ladies let me try on a bag and a pair of heels knowing we were not wealthy and couldn't afford to purchase anything. It as really nice. No one seemed to care I had a fake bag and I felt special. They even gave me a paper shopping bag which I used as a lunch bag for weeks after! :) Who cares if people don't have real ones? I'm 30 now and ironically, although I can afford them I still prefer real people with fake bags than fake people with real bags. Just saying :) (not that everyone who carries a real one is bad or vice versa.) Just means I don't care if people carry fakes.

Sadly where there is a demand for luxury products this will continue! For many who have high end products they dont actually care where the products are made as long as they have what they want!!...☹ Over the years look at the scandals that have come out with Nike, Gap using child sweat shop factories. Balenciaga, yes it causes outrage! But hey people have forgotten about it in the news & everyones still buying the brands!! 🤷‍♀️ I think as a consumer, we have a choice! To buy ethically!.....& big high end brands shame on them!! Because they charge so much for a product the least they can do is give a minimum wage & good conditions for their factory workers!!!....this is disgusting!! I have also noticed people are not wearing high end out alot. As fear of being mugged for their bag.....so whats the point in having it!! If someone rich or good-looking wears a high-quality fake, the bag automatically becomes legit. While a person who looks poor but is actually rich and can afford to wear formal clothes, it automatically becomes fake. It's all about perception. I still wear my now vintage Juicy Couture charm bracelet. So you remember how detailed and fun those charms were ? I have a collection. The ones that aren’t in my charm bracelet I will use on a necklace from time to time. Wear what you want and makes you happy! I love handbags whether they are a few dollars made by an indigenous person or a spendy designer bag. One day I’ll wear a bag that’s a few dollars and the next day I can wear a several thousand dollar bag. It keeps things fun. Enjoy your purchases.

Honestly just wear what you love who cares about what others thing. I think its quite cute! I love the ombre. My fav type of bag is somewhere inbetween your bright playful Juicy bag and high end polised bags. I also have the cube pink chopard bag.
