Shit, when I turned 14 my mother and step father basically said they were done “parenting” (I was the last child at home) they bought a motor home, left $200 on the counter and took off on vacation after Christmas was over until spring time when they came back from Death Valley. Grocery store was up the street, school bus to school and an after school job by 15 that I had to ride a bus to get to.

You needed a decoder box but every now and then the signal would stabilize and you would wax your carrot as fast as you can be for the video signal scrambles in 3 to 5 seconds.
