they were such an incredible collection of talent, it's such a shame they broke up but then again they have one of the most "perfect" existences of any group ever

Would like to see a release of this video with whole set-list re-instated and all the silly effects and crowd close-ups removed.

This is what brilliant musicians sound like - and Stewart Copeland is simply off the scale.

Saw them in 2006(?). First concert I went to where they sold seats behind the stage. Only ones I could afford. Perfectly happy to look down right at SC. The other two would walk around from time to time and play to us, but I was happy just watching Copeland work.

I am not the only one who listens to The Police for the Drumming. Stewart Copeland’s Drumming really carries the song and makes it fun to listen to. I would place him in my top five favorite drummers.

These slower police songs are so good. Murder by numbers, bring on the night , and beds to big without you. Of course walking on thw moon and mesaage in a bottle. So many great songs. Voices in my head

The sign of a true performer. When you mess up and start with the wrong verse you just keep going, and pick up the first verse where the second one should be.

Sting has travelled the world for almost half a century but the very first time he saw the world was touring with the police. It was all new to him back in those days which created an atmosphere and vibe through the music that’s unique to those early records

This is actually a cover version of an old LAST EXIT song from stings early days in Newcastle. Strangely the cover version being dedicated to the legacy of American serial killer Garry Gilmore which isn’t well known but those words in the song were inspired by the words of a notorious murderer.
