26:15 is simply one of the coolest moments in contemporary music I have ever heard, the sheer power in the whole orchestra absolutely screaming with the conductor's wild gesticulations just makes me wanna punch a hole in the wall or something... While sitting in my room completely alone:D You can really SEE the percussionists physical struggle, and I just love it.

The score is slightly different than what is played here. Should I assume the performed version is the later version? A few sections have a little more going on for both hands, and notably, the sempre dolce at 3:43 only has the first note of each bar on the left hand notated

The piece is so dissonant that when I got to the Prayer movement I felt strange. But at the end of the coda, we went back to normal. Loved it! 20/10

I've always thought that ysayes 3rd sonata was a better fit for the piano. This is a brilliant arrangement. I'm speechless

I knew it was difficult. After I bought the sheet music, it seems 5 time more difficult than expected :( So simple answer is - lots and lots of practice
