The combination of MIDI Remote and Control Center is so powerful. I originally bought my Maschine Studio to do exactly this, and I never could outside Maschine software itself. Glad I did not sell it. :) I just wish I could use the jog wheel to move the cursor. It works great for "AI Mouse control" though.

People should quit treating these as consumer headphones and realize they are a purpose built tool that they do a great job at. The rest is pretty irrelevant when deciding if you need VSX.

Thanks for making that video, showing this workflow. Really fascinating on the one hand, really disappointing on the other hand. Disappointing because that's "the best Cubase got", and it's lightyears behind what proper live looping is (Ableton/Bitwig). I think it's a pity that Steinberg does not have a third option in between Cubase and VST Live, which allows proper Cliplaunching, Loading Plugins while Playback is active, Launchpad Support, etc.

At 5:31 you're saying to use the computer's sound card. But why would you select that if you have an audio interface? You should select that, not the computer sound card. Also, the notes in f#-minor are the same notes as A-Major. Whatever minor key you're in, the relative major key is a minor third higher. Conversely, whatever major key you're in, the relative minor in a minor third down. So d-minor is the relative minor of F-Major; a-minor is the relative minor of C-major, e-minor is the relative minor of G-major, etc....

While you can sound very good using vst's such as Arturia, you won't match the original without hardware gear, just doesn't sound as good.

Thanks for the video. I liked mix A, so I'm glad I chose the CTZ mix otherwise I would have questioned why I'm bothering learning this technique lol. I just watched a bunch of @Baphometrix videos but I still had questions. Like you I put his lessons to work on a track I'm already working on. It was quite difficult to implement for an existing track lol. Hard to maintain the existing character of the track while going back and pushing as loud as I can. Like @Baphometrix mentioned, I think it simply exposed some existing mix issues that I had to spend time correcting lol, but overall I really liked the final product. Your video helped me confirm that I am approaching the problem correctly. One thing I need to do though is create the bigger buses for "leads" and "drums" and "pads" and such. I've really enjoyed learning the process and using an oscilloscope to fine tune things. Anyways, thanks again lol!

I got the Cherry Audio version during the december sale for free! Its almost the same, the only thing different is it has no effects and arp section. And it runs so much better on cpu. And for that price i'd rather go for the GeForce Oberheim OB-E (for +/- 200,-) bc it has 8 SEM's in it.. 🔥

good but it is not really all about the arranger track, because someone can use the cubase project for live playing (means with the band not electronical bullshit), and each section represents one song, so you dont want to be repeating those sections, you want each song to be played once... and you should show for example how to create a setlist from this and so on
