I've got one with 50 creatures 15 non-creature, and it's very fun. Some comments and alternatives for what you mentioned in here: Dwyen is kind of pointless unless you really commit to elves being your primary damage source - Verdant Sun's Avatar is kind of nuts on the lifegain Copperhorn is okay, but Wirewood Symbiote to bounce and save important elves (or re-use ETB trigger elves like Wood Elves or use the Quirion Ranger a 2nd time) in addition to untapping Desolation Twin isn't special, you can get better value out of Primeval Protector, Tornado Elemental, or Cloudthresher Karametra's Acolyte isn't great, especially when Priest of Titania and Elvish Guidance exist in that price range or cheaper (plus they say all elves, not just yours) Elvish Visionary doesn't do enough for the card slot, Voice of Many is almost always better - and why draw a card when you can pick a card using Fierce Empath or Mwonvuli Beast Tracker? That's a turn 3 Soul of the Harvest if you got the mana dork with 3 lands Bloodline Shaman is pretty decent as well, it lets you mill a non-creature if you want to or just draw the top card if it's a creature (assuming Eladmri is in play to look at it)

I really like the idea of this commander but there are just not lots of ways to make lands creatures. And especially not on a budget

deck is tight with lots of value. I feel like it could use some protection. That's what I would recommend be the first thing anyone upgrades.

Wait. with deceiver of forms in the scenario given, if they become copies of ulamog's crusher for example, wouldn't that mean they are no longer scions or spawns any more because they are just copies of a generic 'eldrazi' type

neat, now even budget peeps can eldrazi all over the place.

I've been really curious about this commander. It's a cool concept but it seems like it would be hard to build a cohesive strategy around. Have you played the deck at all? How does it hold up? Gotta correct you on one point though. Copying a spell is not actually casting it as you said in reference to Kalamax. Only if the card reads "you may cast the copy without paying its mana cost" would you get the cast trigger from Riku.

Hey! Interesting video, I always love to see creators sharing budget deck tech content. Lot of cool stuff here. My one complaint is that the music is kind of overpowering your explanation, I found it hard to focus on what you were saying or reading the card over it.

I have added Royal Assassin, Marionette master, dark impostor, kiku nights flower, breeches eager pillager, taunt from the rampart, descend to avernus, Bedlam, and blade historian. Marionette master strikes with 4+ damage for each sacked treasure, that hurts pretty quick. Love, Andreas

Gift of Estates sounds pretty nice in 3 colors since it can ramp non basics. Ik they aren't budget, but I think dual land proxies should be allowed in any non cedh groups

Cool! I've got a curious question, does the commander's ability reduce the cost on subsequent castings of the commander? Like, if you'd cast the commander once already, it'd cost (10)G +(2). If you had a bunch of toughness, would it just cost one green?

There is a channel called Command Quarters dedicated to budget builds and built this jelly Boi on a sub $30 budget. This was back when the set first dropped. So if you didn't see any videos of Omnath on a budget, or if your definition of budget is <$10, you weren't looking very hard 😂

A couple great Mana fixing cheap options for this one are Pillar of the Paruns and Obsidian Obelisk, which both tap for one of any color only for a multicolor spell

Visions of Brutality from Oath of the Gatewatch and Withercrown from Kaldheim are good at neutralizing threats even when Eriette gets removed

A few land suggestions that I find helpful when building 5C: Ravnica Bounce lands, which return a land to your hand when you play them but tap for 2 mana in a two-color combination Odyssey Filter lands After heavy reprinting in precon commander decks, most of these are under a dollar and sometimes as low as 50¢. They essentially act like Ravnica signets, but only in allied color pairs Pain lands: These vary depending on how often they have been reprinted, but some like Caves of Koilos go for 1$ or less. The Theros temples, Innistrad show/strixhaven snarls, and Zendikar battle lands are also good budget options
