I don’t feel guilty for leaving the railfan community at first. But I’m glad I did before this. As a Former railfan it’s shocking how minors trespass property to do this for views.

That OMAX you saw had 5676 as the last DPU on the empty run prior to the load you saw. It must've gotten taken off.

Unfortunately this is not my railroad, so not sure on the trees. However, this is in Lincoln, Nebraska so warm summers and cold winters.

Whoever caused this needs to be held accountable! This is why many railroaders hate us. The few bad ones make the rest of us (who aren't doing a dang thing wrong) look bad. This is also one reason why I'm tempted to leave the railfanning community...

The culprits already been caught. A security camera picked someone matching Captial City Rail Productions' description throwing the switch that sent the train into the coal car.

Neat Leaders! I saw the Grey Ghost Lead but haven’t really gotten the KCS Grain much this year mostly due to bad timing. Most of the time it’s has now been a pretty solid mix of CP and KCS units leading it and not many duos of KCS or CP
