ah but a phaze costs £35 and a noco costs about £250.00...so 3 times less wieght but over 7 times the cost.though you can get alot cheaper smaller jump starters relying on capacitors to get you started

Hi from Greece I want to ask you about the colour's cable because in the video I did not see it well, the plan of me is to put hazard in moto, I have find which make only if I put flash in left or right potion and then I put the hazard, i want it to make it directly with the button without to turn it signal left or right.

How did you find the install? Do you recall whether you had any particular issues along the way? I'm thinking about replacing the union bolt on mine with one that is less corroded and horrid to look at.

The union bolt is the least of your problems my friend. But no, no issues to pop the old one off and a replacement one on.

@@nicebigwrench8730somehow I missed this reply and then found it again after all this time. What did you mean by the bolt least of my problems lol? Were there other steps in this process that we’re tricky? My cooler is working fine, I just want to drain the fluids, pop the bolt out, and pop a new one in.

This is the best video I have seen on the internet explaining/showing how to replace the clutch cable. I am riding to Tennessee (Tail of the Dragon) next week and while giving my bike a check out for the trip yesterday I noticed the clutch not feeling right. I was able to get a cable overnight air and replaced it in time for the trip. Many thanks !!!

I honestly couldn't tell you, I've not held one in my hands to compare. I doubt they would change the design a whole lot, and as you can see from this video, it's easy to take one apart and see for yourself. Just be gentle and if you get stuck, reverse your steps.

Hi NBW. You mentioned Hammerite on your video and I know others have repaired using JB Weld or another liquid metal compound. Do you still have your Tracer? and did the Hammerite keep it mint after you reinstalled? many thanks, Mark.
@nicebigwrench8730
@nicebigwrench8730 2 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid the hammerite didn't hold. The chemical nature of the coolant melted the hammerite and it bubbled off. I would suggest getting a gas torch and some plumbers solder to seal the damaged areas back up or perhaps braize it.

seems like VF3W is not available, but from pictures the connector of VF1C or VF6M might fit. Altough it is only 1/3 of the capacity, but seems the only available option.

Hi there. Really useful video as I'm changing the pads on an Aprilia 6.5 moto. However when I put in the new pads in my caliper and replace the locating pin the pads kind of flop out. They don't seem secure at the front end. I also found on the garage floor a small rectangular piece that I'm uncertain what it's for. Any ideas?
@nicebigwrench8730
@nicebigwrench8730 2 жыл бұрын
It sounds like you're not getting the pads locked into the far end of the caliper before putting the pin in. The rectangular piece will likely be the retaining clip that gives the pads some spring tension. I'd suggest putting the caliper back on the bike then putting the pads in. Might help you line it up. You'll need to put the retaining clip back in first before you do.

There's a tiny air vent in the case that should let moisture out. I've experimented with putting a few silica gel beads in behind the circuitboard and they seem to absorb any moisture in the air.
