You have no numbers to back up your claims since there haven’t been studies on it. A healthy skepticism is fine but be honest that you don’t actually know HOW dangerous these manipulations are. You’re using your own medical experience and biases to give people insight into the risks involved. According to one study published by JNS on “Measuring surgical outcomes in neurosurgery” approximately 95% have no complications. If you factor in mortality rates, of ~1.0% for elective spinal surgery. So we generally know how safe neurosurgery is, but can’t say with any degree of confidence how dangerous a Y strap is. I find it hard to believe you would waste your time studying osteopathic spinal decompression techniques and compare the risks involved.
