I have lost my grandfather today. I never cried before, but it hurts a lot. I hope, he is in peace now. He was man of family.

My grandma died Friday 94 years old and I can’t bring myself to go to the funeral but I’m trying to make it up in my mind 😢it’s just so much going in life right now so a death was not on my list of things to deal with .. she raised me even when everyone else abandoned me

I feel like this message may seem like something obvious, but most people don't actually appreciate this sentiment at all. Life would be soooo much easier if most of us stopped to consider whether the people we are working hard to impress or connect with actually like us and realise that our energy would be so much better directed at connecting with people who actually like us. Like he said, we can't ONLY interact or deal with people who like us but saving our best selves for the people who are most likely to appreciate us is such a superior way to live.

Today i’ve been to my grandparents’ house years after they’re gone. As soon as i entered, the feeling of sadness hit mecso hard, knowing they’re not there anymore. Went from such a warm and pleasant place to feeling so empty now 😢

So true. Today is my bday and I keep looking at the clock for my Dad to call me

it's been three years since i lost my grandmother. still feels like yesterday, me hanging out with grandma while mom's at work, her nostalgic recipes still roam around, her ways of taking care of me. i am currently in second year of college. from 2021-2023 i was completely in depression not in the mood for anything or some will to do anything including studies. But once i got into college i healed. The environment surroundings, busy schedule, different people with alots of different skills, me trying to get into skill building, finding true love and my first boyfriend ever. Things escalated for the better but still the hollow that was made after she passed cannot be filled ever. I miss you grandma and i believe wherever you are you're in much peace and a much better place. 🤍

My grandpa died on the first of july and he went through so much it started with losing a toe than a leg, he did so good and he was recovering and then he just got super sick and he had a virus somewhere topped with internal bleeding. So i have been crying his memorial is Tuesday. Before he passed he was put into a medically induced coma so he didnt get to talk. I miss him so much and i wanted to say so much.

Happens to me often, with grieving the loss of my parents

I was Raised by my Grandparents while my parents are out of town for work until my Grandfather died 17 years ago when I was 10, then my Grandmother was now the only left and then my sister was born raised us both, my sister and I are so close to my Grandma and so does her Great Grandchildren from my Cousin's, until 3 days ago she passed and Me and my sister will be Misses her so much for years she Raised us and living with her including my nephew will also misses her cause she took care of him too, she's the Best Grandmother and Great Grandmother

My grandpa passed away on Wednesday July 9th 2024. And aside from my parents he was my favorite person in the world. He got to live for a good 74 years. Also I’m 11 while typing this because I’m typing this the day he died. So R.I.P my Grandpa. I’m also typing this at 5 in the morning but rest in peace my Grandpa.

Grandmother had problems with lungs because of a lifetime smoking. She also had lung cancer and lost weight, can't imagine the uncomfort she was going through but know she's free.
