No set rotation for EW Deadeye. Just prioritize landing SRF + JD > Shotgun Dom > Last Request off cooldown. Depending on boss patterns you can work in your other 3 dmg skills. I talk about it briefly in my build commentary video.

If we could use a 5th shotgun skill we'd totally still use it. Unfortunately we have to pick 4 shotgun skills and SoA is the odd man out because JD/SRF/SD are much more dmg and LR is similar dmg + great utility.

1 pistol 2 rifle is the way to go. Aimed Shot + One Shot One Kill are too strong atm and nonpositional.

Yep it's all preference! Any of the utility tripods on the first row of OSOK and SRF can be used as they don't change your damage.

If you go to the Lost Ark Nexus website and look up the Sorc class guide I'm using the Critflux build with Explosion. The guide there is really in-depth and helpful.

I personally dropped quickshot for death fire to get a skill that has tenacity tripod and solid damage. I kept cruel tracker though because I like the range it has with the 2 shots from "quick draw".. I did obviously go "close shot" on judgement day out of habit but after seeing this video I'll change it just so I'll have a source of burndamage on one of my main skills =) (might be useful in Ivory Tower)

Thanks for the comment. I would only recommend 6M build if you're missing some skill points. The rifle skills are really strong and non-positional so they help keep dps uptime if the boss is doing a pattern where there's no back attack opportunity. Swapping between 3 weapons does take time to get used to, especially if you don't play a PM Gunslinger alt, but the sooner you start practicing the sooner you'll be comfortable with it.

I posted a build commentary the other day and in that vid I give my brief thoughts on spec/crit vs spec/swift. Spec/crit is optimal, especially if no other crit synergies are in the party and you have m/aspeed synergy from a DB or Bard. Eventually I will go for a crit/spec necklace and replace quick shot with desperado.

Appreciate the feedback. I wanted to keep the video relatively concise so I only mentioned additional tripods where we have a choice if we want to play optimally.

I halfway agree but most of the old shotgun skills haven't changed in years apart from occasionally having a useless tripod replaced with a new one (I think). Not having "close shot" on most of those while playing a deadeye means you really should be playing a gunslinger instead because even though we CAN cut ourselves free from the "half damage outside half range" shackle we can't spec out of back attacks. If you like back attacking from medium range you really should try pistoleer (even though it does have a few non positionals that are very strong, notably metorstream + desperado). The bottom line is that for all of the "old" shotgun skills the "close shot" tripod far outperforms the alternatives in terms of damage and the entire point of the EW build is to have burst damage ready on demand without going through 3-5 abilities to set it up. Of course if you modify the build by having less mobilityskills to squeeze more skillpoints into damageskills you might find it hard to get into optimal position in order to hit that "close shot" but quite often that will also screw over back attacking in general. Edit: For SGD in particular I think the damage output of the final tripods "The Ruler" & "Master of CQC" is really close with probably a slight edge towards "The Ruler" however I do sometimes find myself missing my perfect zone in raids which will gut the performance of "The Ruler" but not really bother MoCQC at all unless I have to move out of a pattern. Shotgun dominator itself isn't guaranteed a spot in the lineup as its performance compared to Sign of Apocalypse is only slightly better which again is in my opinion due to the perfect zone being rewarded with a slight bump in damage.

Happy to help. You should always run Close Shot tripod on Shotgun Rapid Fire and Shotgun Dominator for maximum DPS. However, on Judgment Day I use Dragon's Breath tripod instead of Close Shot because it's the same DPS.

Nah not true. It's the same % chance to hit gear quality every tap regardless of where you start. All of my "fails" in this video are a weapon quality roll of 89 and under. Recrafting also costs more gold per tap so def not worth.

@@Fiorious-xm7wt my main wp qual 93, i recrafted and upgraded to 98 about 80k gold, slayer wp 86 -> 98 cost 45k, DB wp 76 -> 100 qual in 3 tap after recraft

@@tuchung6687 the pie percentages for tapping is always the same regardless of current quality. recrafting is a waste of gold and has been confirmed by goldriver himself

I mean you can google it and see there's no difference. My main shown here has the lowest weapon quality of my top 6 roster which is why I'm trying to improve it. It's just the way the cookie crumbles!
