Nice half penny and 1859. The 1859 gives off one of the lowest target ID's out of all of the Canadian coins and tokens (apart from nickels) This is why I set up my tone break at 34. Congrats on the days finds Liz.

As mentioned elsewhere, walnut shells are used in industrial polishing applications all the time, and can be bought in bulk, crushed to the appropriate grit and size. The challenge with walnut shells, even when you purchase them, is they are difficult to reuse, as they are hydrophilic, as in, they can’t be washed since they absorb water and/or dissolve.

Hi from Cornwall. This coil has just reached our shores! Unearthed UK (Graeme Rushton), had a small batch of them from FTP in 12DD format, I've bought one and it is a definite enhancement on my 75. The rest have sold out now... I'm old-skool, I stick with two good "guns" that are tried and tested. No POS perceived obsolescence syndrome, as I call it.. The only new machine I own in the Nokta Leg-end. It's no "Legend", it hasn't been around. The Fisher 75 is a true Legend, imo. I hear tell there's an FTP 8" DD in the US of A now, to compliment this coil. Graeme is testing one at this time, but FTP only sent him the one. Take it easy. Meur ras😊

Twice the cost of a coil than any detector from the Teknetics greek series! Is that normal?
@DiggingCanuck7 күн бұрын
I haven't kept up on Fisher products or pricing ...
@KernowekTim6 күн бұрын
£129 inc P&P from Unearthed UK. That's a fair price compared to a new 11x7 DD or the 10x5 Solid White Elliptical DD, imo. It's listed at £179.99 on Amazon UK. That, is OTT.

Hello- Excellent video! What are your thoughts on the comparisons between that Nokta Legend and the Fisher F-75 Ltd? I realize that they are 2 different animals between a Multifrequnecy and a 13 kHz machine, but what are your thoughts anyway? I love that it also has the backlit screen! Thnk you, Marko from New Mexico
@DiggingCanuck8 күн бұрын
Hello Marko. I used a Fisher F75 for about 9 months. The Legend is waterproof to 16 feet so that is huge. The ability to adjust the tones is also a plus. The rechargeable battery is also a plus and the ability to save settings into many user profiles is a great thing as well as being able to update the software via computer hook-up. Overall if you have the choice, then definitely go with the Legend :)
