I have an old john boat just like that but its pretty beat up & leaks quite a bit. i use to just run it with a trolling motor but i have a 2 horse Suzuki now i haven't tried it on it yet but i bet its gonna be perfect cause it moved a much bigger boat decently. Im possibly going to buy some marine epoxy to seal it. Anyways good luck building & happy fishing man!

They worked I got my line broken by a big bass and it came to the top of the water shaking that big old head and all I saw was my purple flying lure literally flying across the lake lol 😂 I was so mad 😡

I used these when they just came out, and under one of the bridges there was a big barrel, I thought, there must surely be a fish in there. I dropped the lure almost perfectly at the entrance, it swam in, and immediately got attacked by a big Perch, nailed it immediately! Good memories of my youth, remember it like it was yesterday. Probably 27 years ago or so. They definitely would swim forward, but you'd need a thin-ish line and definitely not a steel leader. So could be a problem with Pike.
