If you can find an Evo VIII/IX MR, I think having Tom come back for a back to back comparison would be pretty sweet.

My 2015 Versa Note just turned 88K and no trouble with the XTronic CVT. I understand how the steel belt and 2 pulleys work so my expectations are not that of a geared automatic. I DO have the fluid changed every 30K mi.

Chrysler may be dying, but if you can find a decent 2015+ Chrysler 300, they are a good ride. I have the Cousin and maybe if the new Charger comes /“around and sells decently could, be a good platform to get Chrysler back in the new era…..hopefully not electric only though!

Aspen went bye bye…:Durango took MY!2010 off and was rebuilt as 2011 on the Jeep Grand Cherokee platform. My Durango Owmers Club was hosted by the NJAP for a tour in 2011 as an add on with the Woodward Dream Cruise. The most recent sighting was two 2008 and 2009 models at the Chrysler Nationals last weekend!

I have a 2000 SSEi. It is not a G-Body. It's a H-body. Everything works on it perfectly and still looks great. I get 23 mpg in mixed driving. After some mods it is making about 300 hp and is fun to drive. Bought it for 1000 bucks.

Granted, mine is a 2009, but it's still kicking, and I see many of my model still around. This car is far from a lemon except for the trans. Mine is going, but it has been in 4 accidents within my family, so the car could definitely be in a lot worse shape.

Have a 14 RT that I actually love. Same color as the one reviewed here and when it's clean that color really is sharp! It's got 113K miles now and never had any issues with it other than when I went to a oil monkey place and they torqued the filter on too tight, so I made them replace the broken housing. To compare, the dodge V6 was more powerful than the Fusion V6 (I shopped both in 14) and for the same amenities the Ford was like 10K more expensive. Not sure why people like to poo on this model.

I bought a pristine 01' SL2 5-Speed as an extra car about a year ago and it surprised the hell out of me by quickly becoming one of my favorite cars that I've owned, even over much newer vehicles. In contrast, my first car was an 02' Cavalier that I bought in 03'. It is a night and day comparison in how much better of a car the Saturn is than the Chevy in every way, even with my Saturn reference being 23 years old.

I had a 91 gti, honestly it’s still my favourite car I’ve ever had. Purchased for $300, it was such a loud pig to be in, but it was so reliable and nimble. It took me to uni for years, it drove through flood waters, it did a hillclimb and I beat other people with more experience and ‘better’ cars. I regret selling it!

dont you need omologations for roll cages in the US? In italy it has to be FIA cvertified, i was wondering because im building the same chassis as a race car and have to have the cage built by a professional company to have it legal to participate in any semi serious amature events

We do and this car meets SCCA specifications. The issue is that the car was built for someone shorter than I or the current owner, so the halo bar being where it is wasn't as big of a deal for them.

For Hillclimb, technically the car only needs a 4-point bolt in bar with a harness bar and properly mounted fixed-bucket drivers seat to be legal. There are stipulations on tube diameter and wall thickness relative to chassis weight, as well as mounting pad sizes. It has been inspected and has an SCCA Time Trials logbook. It could have a full road race logbook if I had a permanent window net mounted.
