Why did I think this product was priced right. It cost more than the most popular tire swing. Okay, cool.

Great video very informative except for Houswin diesel heater, went to the website, but there’s no way contacting them at all. Ask a few questions I will not purchase anything from any company that don’t have access to some sort of customer service.

I don't get any of this Cosplay Fauxverlanding 💩. Most of you are only going camping for a weekend twice a year. But you Millennials need a Pronoun of "Fauxverlander"?

I am hearing that dual snorkels are the newest thing these days. They say this new raging trend began in Bavaria.

OVS-Overland Vehicle Systems is a great company. Last year I FINALLY picked up my custom made offroad trailer with a 270 awning. First trip out I used the awning and a gust of wind snapped the rear two spreader bars. My fault. Should have used the support poles and guy lines. I got home and called OVS and explained my rookie move and what happened. They asked for my address. I received two new poles w/i a week no charge. I should also note that the builder of my trailer (Overkill Camper Trailers-Bend, OR) screwed over a lot of vendors before they closed their doors. I dont know if OVS was one of them but they sent me replacement bars with no hesitation.

All this is just too much in my opinion. I've been camping for years, and I just keep it simple.

I understand there is a growing movement for dual snorkels. I believe I heard this trend began in Bavaria. Did you film the snorkel booth in this episode?

Great concept, but too small. Maybe there are patent issues, but this would work better if the sleeping area was longer, swung up and away like AluCab, and the lower area was fully usable when not sleeping. Also, they seem to be enamored with doors. Too many and unnecessary. Ventilation is what's needed - along with insect mesh. Every door means hinges and frame areas to seal from water intrusion. I'll wait for version 3.0 if they survive long enough.

lol, we are working on the format of these videos. We do agree that we need to open the tent earlier. Maybe just start with it open? Or Start with opening it.

I wish more vendors would say if their products are solely made in the US (not just assembled in the US) because I’d make those vendors my priority. I figure it’s all made in China if they don’t mention it otherwise, and i don’t want to support them.

Finally, a truck camper designed and built by people who do more than glamping! Looks like it was built by a bluewater sailboat designer. Every space is used , lots of redundancy, storage, ease of diagnosis and repair for inevitable problems away from civilization. I will be looking very closely at this company when I get closer to building my rig.

They should have named this the "mid-life crisis" expo. Almost zero pricing for the average joe. No one wants to say, but you all know it.
@SleepyPaul6 күн бұрын
Poor 20 something’s are not the “average joe”, median age in the US is ~38 and the average single income is 60k. Most of these teardrops are between 15-30k, that is totally accessible to a normal income.

Step 22 got some really unique and useful bags. The problem with all tool roll bags is that you have to hunt in the bottom of a pouch for your sockets without a socket organizer somebody needs to come up with an inexpensive but usable socket organizer for these tool rolls. Most commercial tool rolls either don’t work. They’re too expensive and a lot of them do not fit in the tool roll bags.
@WelcomeToTheOutdoors15 күн бұрын
So I use a regular rail style socket organizer that’s I cut to length and fit them in between the bags in the tool roll.
@Mrjiggyfli3414 күн бұрын
I do the same thing, cut my socket holder in half and put sockets on each side
