I am 48 years old and grew up in South Georgia. I know Savannah like the back of my hand. These fake and exaggerated accents are getting on my nerves. SOME, are authentic, but the acted ones make me wanna vomit.

Douglass never considered the Lloyds his family. I was surprised to hear that comment. Just the opposite is true. Douglass himself described the Lloyds’ inhumane, barbaric treatment of slaves. Read chap 2 of David Blight’s biography of Frederick Douglass. He paints a graphic portrait of slaves’ lives on the Lloyds’ plantation, where adults wielded whips with impunity.

Studying The book of Revelation study guide Stott wrote. Recently studying the beatitudes he also wrote. The Sermon on the Mount is what i listen to each night.

Lovely interview, but it always rather astonishes me that people who have the privilege of going to Oxford or Cambridge, or indeed any university, don't attend the lectures. You wonder how they pass the examinations, it seems like children who play near permanent truant from school and get no education. Yet obviously in the case of John Stott and many other students, they manage to do very well, or at least well enough, without turning up in the lecture theatre.

I loved the tour busses cause, actors jump on at certain stops and tell a story about the building your at or about the area. The Forest Gump dude was a trip too. We stayed at a B&B also some of Forest Gump was filmed in Beaufort South Carolina too💯🥰🥰 Tybee Island was great also but I know I'll never be able to walk up the light house again 🙃 Dinner on the river boat 🚢 was the Best ever🍹🥗🍤🥩💯🤗

While I acknowledge that he was becoming more and more ecumenical during last years... I thank God for John Stott's life, teaching, and influence. Of all the books, his commentary 'The Bible Speaks Today' on 2 Timothy is superb! 😍
