It’s a psychological thriller, if you don’t understand it you won’t like it.

Interesting video. I'm a former projectionist at a "historic/movie palace"-type theater that still used carbon-burning projectors (this was in the '90s... yep I'm old). I'm assuming it's 2 employees at this theater... you and the kid running concessions downstairs? My local movie theater is a dump run by Cinemark (but I love it BECAUSE it's a dump... there's something to be said for the classic "popcorn and sticky spilled soda" experience you only get from cheap and 2nd-run theaters). I swear they only have 2 employees on any given night: projection and concessions. Ticketing is 100% automated via kiosks. If they could automate concessions and cleaning auditoriums, they would. Hopefully they never automate projection. Sure, it isn't what it used to be in the 35mm days, but at the Cinemark, that room is locked up like a bank vault. It probably looks like a college dorm on the inside. I think this would be a better video if you did the whole thing in landscape instead of portrait, and also having your face in it less. Anyway, this is an interesting look behind the scenes. Thank you for sharing it.

I really enjoyed this movie, I really like Matthew Lillard as an actor so I thought he did a great job. I am also thinking there is gonna be more coming soon. I liked the little Easter eggs they had hidden. I think it needed more kills! I also really do also agree it gave a feel of Black Phone at Chuck E. Cheese.

Saw X takes place between Saw and Saw 2. I think most newer horror isn’t enjoyable at all, but Saw X did it right. I might be bias though considering Saw is one of my favorite franchises.

I really enjoyed the movie. I felt it was predictable and formulaic but the performances and Michael B. Jordan’s directing make up for that. The fight scene at the end when the audience disappears and the visual story telling Michael B. Jordan displays was some of the best in the entire franchise. Over all, didn’t love this movie but liked it a lot. Great review, Chris!

I'm thinking more and more that not Esai Morales' character, but rather Henry Czerny's character: Eugene Kittridge, will be the main villain and Morales' character will be an assassin working for Kittridge and his secret organization) or for The White Widow. His statements to Ethan "the chance to control the truth. The concepts of right and wrong for all for centuries to come" are those of a true villain and his evil organization that always wants to determine what is right and wrong

To me the movie was about dynamics of white men coming from various perspectives to reach a consensus. Even at the time an all white male jury was statistically almost impossible, especially in NY City. You had to suspend disbelief. To me the theme is embodied in the Bertrand Russell quote, "The problem is that the intelligent have doubt while the stupid are always cocksure." In this case, the reasonable people who had doubt kind of let themselves get pushed around by the more reactionary members of the jury early on, but pushed back as the story evolved.

First was definitely the best for sure. They established who the Creeper truly was and showed the fans it's true nature and needs at the end of the movie. The second one was okay, could've used a true sequel instead of the one we got in 3 which was terrible. I mean come on, a severed Creeper hand grabbing onto a woman, pulling her into the air, and giving her stupid visions. Tell me that's not stupid and you'd be dumb. I just wanted to see the series finish off before the reboot.
