VK Singh fought wars and served his country; didn't wipe his butt for 40 years as some of you suggested. Agniveer - after 4 years gives him a choice to continue provided he's fit and likes to serve his nation else he can leave with the money to further his education or start a small business or enter government service. What it lacks is a bit more financial help in case some of them can't make it on their own after they come out or if they are injured during service which affects them lifelong. It would be good if people start appreciating India for what it is instead of praying for a totalitarian state like Saudi or Russia or China and a country that emulates the West which suffers from too much freedom.
