I like the mix of Alabama and Hank jr version Alabama wrote the song in 79 hank jr released his version in 80 both are good but Randy Owens and Hank jr play good together Alabama is the best country band and Hank Williams jr is the best county singer

This song about a very special person Mary Thomas as I know here. She was my student assistant when she was in HS, and also baby sat my daughter. Words can't describe what a beautiful person she was. It was so sad to see her go. This song will bring a tear to my eye. I can't imagine the grief Hank has to deal with. I know there's a special place in heaven where Mary is looking down.
