You are perpetuating the myth that they were invited here by the Government, they were not invited. Nor was the Empire Windrush the first to arrive carrying immigrants - two ships had arrived the previous year.

Bristol is a "Students City". We can observe so many university student accommodations around the city. Being a Student City, I would figure the safety of the students is foremost important, especially at St Paul's area. Any comments?

Nice to see people enjoying themselves. Unfortunately the Windrush lies are now the new truth. This was the start of the decline in Britain. Right up to to 80s some of the descendants of Windrush were pimping White women on the Street of Bristol. Car jackings and mugging was the norm. Then we had the yardies Gangsters armed and dangerous. Kicked out when they terrorised their own community. As a common wealth Island Jamaicans left their unstable jobless island to head to a cold grey and wet uk. While some Brits were taking the ten pound Pom flights to Australia.
