I'm sure this is fascinating. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand 9/19th of what the lads said. Subtitles would make this more accessible and more productive in terms of knowing what the lads' lives are like.

Accent proved a challenge, but what i got waa that david and kammy were thoughtful, resourceful kids with a great sense of humour and insight

documentary producers are sociopaths. they always seem to double cross or use people they feature. And surely the Glaswegian LGBT community should be more supportive of sex workers, especially as at that time people often had no options. 1990s Britain was pretty homophobic and the support for gay youth at that time was pretty scant, compared to now.

Ordinarily, I'm very adept at understanding all sorts of English-language accents, but this video REALLY, REALLY needs captioning. It's almost impossible for some of us to understand at least 50% of the spoken words in this video, and my friends and I are all native English speakers.

Hope these poor little lads are doing fine now. It’s endearing to see even just at 15 years of age, they both have the Scottish sense of humour that we are known for! Utterly appalling that they were both just kids and were manipulated into into doing this programme and revealing their identity on television for all to see. I just came across this video through a very good close friend of mine. This is really sad to learn about the boys in the video, I have had a bad life myself for several years different reasons; lost one family member to cancer and I am lucky to be alive today if it wasn’t for my dad who has sadly died from health issues that were not able to get treated as too dangerous and very complex. These film makers treat us all like a heard of cattle in doing so they don’t care about us and our feelings just viewing figure ratings. It would be nice if they could give them all of the moral support they needed. I have been in the past few years with a volatile partner who had controlled me and due to their actions I went missing in Edinburgh for 24 hours once. At the time I was not able to speak out about how I was feeling or going through. I do hope that they are okay after the film makers manipulated these really cool guys and managed to move on from this horrible ordeal

You two remind me so much of my best friend David and myself when we were 15. We became homeless and ended up hustling for money. We did very well. I am 62 now, and I have been out of that business for many many years. I turned out fine. I did what I had to do to literally eat. Now I am very well off. I own a million dollar home, new Mercedes and tons of $$ in the bank and investment accounts. My only advice is to stay off the drugs. Treat it as a business. Be smart. ❤️❤️

This happens a lot alot of kids even as young as 10 have been taken and dropped off on the street disowned because thier parents refuse to have a gay kid in thier family. Some run away from home because they have been tormented ..beaten because thay come out as gay. Lots get picked up by pimps and druged beat snd forced to have sex for money and the pimps get the money

Many are thrown out at a young age but there have to be options. I hope they are taking PrEP because HIV still has no cure. They risk their lives. There must be LGBT assistance resources that can help them. It breaks my heart that they are on the street and suffering.

I had read that, of all the UK accents, the one of Glasgow is the most difficult for the North American ear.. Puzzled, I wondered why. Now I know why. I wanted to view this film in a game serious way.

This documentary would be VASTLY improved with subtitles. Did the makers really think that the rest of the world would be able to understand these thick as molasses Scottish accents? REALLY?

This is not new!! I knew straight young men who did this for money in the 80s and were groomed by a creepy middle aged man. Rough childhood and crappy dead beat dad.
