Thank you for the video and for your tips on Google Flights. I'm a little bit skeptical when Google Flight suggests third-party vendors for the purchase of the tickets. Although they are shown as sometimes much cheaper than purchasing directly from the airlines, most of them does not sound familiar to me (and I usually find some bad reviews about them on the Internet). Have you ever purchased any flight tickets via those alternative vendors? Do you think they are reliable or should I keep on playing on the safe side and purchase the tickets directly from the airlines?
@DavidGTravels14 күн бұрын
Hey, good to see you in the comments again! That’s a great point and I cover booking direct vs. with third-party sites in a few other videos. Simplified, I would advise to aim to always book direct wherever possible. I have booked hundreds of flights both ways, but can say that it’s nearly always easier to manage a booking when it’s made direct with the airline.

@@DavidGTravels Thank you so much for the advice. And, indeed, managing a booking is always much easier when the ticket was purchased directly from the airline.

@@DavidGTravels It’s a highly refined oil which causes the loss of many of its health benefits. It’s deodorized as well as bleached in that refining process. @DavidGTravels21 күн бұрын
Sounds like a solid approach. On long haul flights I most often go for a row with 2 seats unless traveling alone
@TheSimArchitect21 күн бұрын
I like the last row. Nobody behind me when I recline, no children kicking my seat, nobody shaking my seat whenever they want to move, more privacy without people looking over my shoulder, bathrooms nearby, so I can fart as much as I want and people will think it's coming from the toilet. 🤪 As a bonus, there's a tiny bit of a chance you'll be alone in the last row, as most people dislike it.

Just a suggestion. International travel is an educational experience that allows to learn little thing about the cultures of different countries. As a suggestion, I would suggest that you never use the OK hand signal as it can be a very derogatory and insulting gesture in many countries like Brazil and Greece. The thumbs up is also an insult in some countries. Solution: Avoid all hand signals in foreign countries before you go there or consult a local on how to use a hand signal in their country to communicate your approval of a subject. The OK hand signal in Brazil means up yours or in your anus!
