Every time I clean my garage, I've found unfinished jobs that weren't needed and got replaced by jobs that needed NOW! Every tool needs its own location ( home).

I have never been so productive as when I am avoiding something I don't want to do. All manner of things get cleaned up, and odd jobs knocked off the list. I have started to have an "avoiding things" list where I put minor todos to pick up in just this situation. I do a few of those, laugh at myself for being so childish, and then go back to avoiding everything and getting nothing done.

This was amazing and perfect! I exhibit ADHD traits and I’ve never been diagnosed. This video was very validating and a lot of new tools I have started using plus some new ones I have never thought of before. Thank you for this. This is perhaps the most important and valuable gardening video for me so far this year.

Please don't put liquids right next to your keyboard or computer. Even if you think you couldn't possibly bump or drop something that tips your cup or thermous over...it could happen.

I Need pond help, please!!! What did you mean when you said "now that the pigs fixed the leak in the pond"? Is that a pond without a liner? I've been trying to figure out how to make a pond without a liner in it so that I can plant my garden around it, but it is hard to find info on the subject. How did you get the pigs to fix the leaks?

I absolutely love your channel. Ive a particular intrest in the dairy animals as I work for a dairy equipment/ hygiene firm in the UK. My question is around the hand milking which, as Im sure you know, can be quite labour intensive. Have you considered another form of milking set up like a bucket plant or small parlour? Also what strength iodine dip do you use and have you considered alternate actives like Chlorhexidine, Lactic Acid or Chlorine Dioxide?

Oh and, by the looks of it, the tool kit you use for the donkeys is almost the same as the tool kit for cattle hoof trimming.

“A visible pile of tangible results for my effort” :D Truly, you are marvelous! I remember reading something as a kid (in the 70's) about the ritual of sweeping, as well as something about sprinkling some herbs -- oregano or something? -- on the floor prior to sweeping. Sounds really hedge-witchy, right? But I have kept an old jar of oregano around for just that reason as an adult. Every so often, I sprinkle some around before I sweep... It's kind of like raking vs. leaf-blowing: the action of raking is meditative, somehow. I think I'll go sweep my floor :)

Inspiring! I'm a perfectionist and if I can't do it perfectly I tend to leave it, which leaves a messy house. Tons of your tips are things I learned the hard way! Especially trying to beat my time at a task (make it a game) & the brain dump. Sometimes I just tell myself to be mature and do the task. Then something fun. I've been learning that my garden doesn't have to look perfect. I'm doing a food forest and also harvesting all the weeds, which means we let the weeds grow. 😱. Hubby is coming around on that.
