when you removed the outer half of the drive pulley, rite there on the shaft, is a governor, if you take it off, it makes you go 10mph faster!!

Love your videos. Never afraid to show your learning curve too (leaving the bleeder valve open). I prefere using a Mity-Vac for this procedure, makes it even easier still.

IGNORANT TRAVEL AGENT. THE BEST THING ABOUT ROATAN IS ITS AUTHENTICITY AND HOPE STAY THAT WAY. NO NEED FOR YOUR TYPICAL ISLAND WITH HIGH RISE BUILDING AND COMMERCIALIZED. ACCORDING TO NY TIMES ROATAN IS THE NEW "IT" OF THE CARIBBEAN. THERE IS ALSO GUANAJA AND UTILA. THE SECOND LARGEST CORAL BARRIER REEF IN THE WORLD AND THE FAMOUS WHALE SHARP AS WELL AS THE PINK BOA...THE BAY ISLANDS ARE A WORLD OF ITS OWN.

Cool project. Good luck with your maintenance and suck. A click-stop ratcheting torque wrench was a great investment for me, but might be overkill for standard maintenance. Ride safely! The Safety Course is worth its weight in gold! And learning to ride on dirt really drops the learning curve for riding a bike.

We just went on the Carnival Valor but on Nov 19th, 2010 the weather was bad and we didn't get to stop at Isla Roatan. We turned around & was refunded our excursion fee. We was going to do the garafuna experience & boat ride. :-(

@HappyParrotFL ok..but whats the opposite of a oneway valve? I thought scooters have the same setup? you noted in the description i can be applied to any scooter..I now read more articles all saying the same thing. hold/open/close/release..I also read some posts by people saying manually doing it is better than a pump..I'm going to try the hold/open/close/release technique and see if that works out. &leave aZIP tie on a lever 1/2 way to release any bubbles overnight...
@THEJEDEYEMASTER14 жыл бұрын
from articles i'm reading on various websites they are saying you are supposed to pump and then hold the brake lever AND open the nut, then close the nut, THEN release the brake lever. webbikeworld. com /Motorcycle-technical-articles/bleeding-motorcycle-brakes/bleeding-motorcycle-brakes.htm museinspireddesign. com /baronrepair/repair.html
@THEJEDEYEMASTER14 жыл бұрын
let me ask you something..I read@the burgmanusa forum you should pump the brake to build pressure and then hold it, open the nut to release the air pressure/air bubbles and then close it, then release handle. Not pump then release, then open..I need to do both front and back, and i'm not so sure now..

@HappyParrotFL that's some dad you have there maureen! and of course, he's clearly got a wonderful daughter ! i am also wanting to get a vespa, and i am looking at used ones locally. i also want to be able to at least approach the repairs... although i don't have access to tools or a garage space. anyway, keep up the great work, i'll be watching... and good luck with your savings. any idea what model you're leaning towards?

Thank you so much for this video. We are going on the Legend in Oct. And we were a little afraid of going to Isla Roatan. One travel agent even told us it was still a developing third world country so it might be best to just stay on board. After seeing all of the fun your family had, I can't wait to go. Thanks again!
