He keeps looking to his right....seems obviously he is painting from either another painting or a photograph...If so, it would be nice each time for the artist to show the photo he is painting from.....to see if he is just reproducing or in fact adding his own touch in creating the piece...

In your next one, many will applaude when you place a few shimmering rings of rising trout on the glassy water surface, and one shattering the stillness as it leaps from the water and catches the sparkling light of the sky in it's splash and shimmering smooth wet body. And maybe the 3 Billy Goats Gruff on the far bank.😊❤ And maybe another one of your wonderful eagles in the distant clouds. And honestly, the color of the frame detracts from the splendor of your fabulous painting. Perhaps something very dark and neutral? But all I can really say is simply superb! I feel like I just went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and stared at the Hudson River School wall sized paintings there!

Now that is real art! More real than photography! Because the eye and the mind can perceive far more than any photograph or man made lens and camera.

I kid you not, I can smell the oil paints....I guess that's cuz I'm an artist too. Simply awesome!

Reminds me of the genius hand and mind of the Maker of the real thing. Psalms 8 and 19. KJV, of course. ❤️ Oh, and don't forget John 3.16. And God saw everything that he had made, and it was very good! Genesis 1.31 But it was all ruined by sin. Yet, the LORD created beauty even from the ruins, and the catastrophic Flood of Noah's day, and subsequent Ice Age, and lifted up the high mountains, and created the amazing diversity of the seasons and pointed us back to the only hope of restoration of paradise and of everlasting life. He sent his only begotten Son to pay the penalty for our sins. We only have to humble ourselves and receive him. It's the greatest mystery, the mystery of the Gospel. It's the light in the window.

Fabulous. Exactly my favorite kind of art 🎨. Hudson River School. Inspired me since seeing it as a young child in the Met. I had a one man ( boy) show there myself. They had my work in the Louvre also then. I was on television multiple times and in periodicals. I should have been an artist 🎨 😪. Instead I settled into being a doctor, but at least it is as a radiologist, pictures!
