If you flip the top layer over to use the bottom of the pan side for the top, you will have a square edge to start with, rather than building it with soft icing.

I don’t understand why her cakes are domed. She could have used cake strips to prevent that or cut the dome. You can still see that the very top has hardly any icing, which will not look great one cut.

I wished i like the taste if these types of cookies. I wooikd buy so many. I just think they taste bad. Like food coloring. Flour and a sugar cube. They are fun to make but they never get eaten. I paid a girl $100 for 36 cookies. Large. Very pretty. Gold floral theme. Lots of 3d roses. Not were eaten. A few bites here an there...when i was cleaning...the cookies werent touch on peoples plates. Not sure what it is but they jusy dont taste good.

This is what I call easy stenciling!!!! The good thing about this method is you can make up any words you want at random. I was wondering how someone can achieve stenciling with royal icing when you need to stencil your own words, i.e. names or messages - you can't, because it will smudge!

Why the fondant always crack at the edge of the dummy? I'm using water for stick the fondant to the dummy

It’s because the edge of cake dummy is “sharp” and fondant is heavy. When dragged down and stretched, the area there becomes the weakest spot which makes it easily torn. Try using vegetable shortening or crisco next time, i find it more forgiving than water. Hope that helps :)
