Eternalism is when the personal sense of identity or doership dissolves into the universal eternal awareness which is who we are . When we know our unchanging eternal nature as one w everything. Then we see the phases of creation and destruction, pleasure and pain not as problems in the world but just “ what is “ and there is no wish or need for it to be different. Buddhism seems to want to make everyone comfortable w pain and suffering. Read the works of Ramana Maharishi and the KZfaq’s of Byron Katie. They take it much deeper
