Ozzy recorded great songs with Sabbath, but his petty backstage politics make me fucking sick. Rest in Peace Dio, you absolute legend. \m/

45:00 I tried to get the cause of death for Richard Brunelle. Florida does not have an open records policy when it comes to death.

I remember a buddy of mine getting their first album sometime around 1981 or '82 (I was a sophomore or junior depending on the respective years) and we were blown away. And now it's 43 years later and they're still kicking the tires and lighting the fires. All I gotta say is...awesome!!!

I totally miss these type of people in the industry. Ronnie, Lemme and many others. They put an honest face to the music and gave you a sense of being in a global community. My first female friend and her mom got me into Dio way back in the 80's and the records still sound as fresh as ever. His legacy lives on and I wish he was still with us but the music lives and I'm sure in 500 years times some kid will discover his music and be totally blown away.

Mike’s voice defines death metal on those old MA, Incubus, and Nocturnus recordings. Could listen to him talk for hours!

He is very aloof. Tony Martin is my favourite BS singer and a humble guy too. Just as powerful but more melodic and that takes way more skill.

As a Canadian one thing I know for sure about North America is that it's a massive continent. Canada alone is the second largest country in the World next to Russia. That's not even including the USA or Mexico. Basically it's extremely expensive for bands to tour here, which is one of the reasons why we don't have the tours and stuff that Europe gets. In general it was different back in the 80s and 90s and earlier. Bands used to make the majority of their profits off album sales back then. These days it's the total opposite and bands make the majority of their profits off merch sales at live shows. If you don't have the money upfront to rent a tour bus they aren't gonna spot you a bus in hopes that you can pay for it in the future.😉 Was watching an interview with Kelly Shaefer from Atheist and Paul Masvidal from Cynic. They toured a year or two ago and they split a tour bus between the two bands which they rented. Just to rent the bus for the tour it cost a TON of $. Thousands which the bands pay out of pocket themselves.
