It's probably way too late haha but i just bought mine and had the problem that o couldn't change the lights, i downloaded "open rgb" , with it you can customize it.

Yes. What eventually fixed it, is I landed at Baijini point, stored the ship, took off all the rhinos, put them all back on, and spawned the ship again. It might have worked just to respawn the ship, but I didn't want to have to go through all of that again if it didn't work

@@LordTiberius52 And even then, there have been times that removing weapons and replacing them didn't fix it either... like it got stuck in an endless state of missing a weapon, even after being destroyed and reclaimed.

What thing? The X56 is pretty good value for the money. But be sure to get the LOGITECH version (black and Grey). Because the Saitek one had lots of problems (black and Blue) I've been using mine almost every day since 2018.

@@LordTiberius52 Interesting! My understanding is that you have to use the software to use the mode selector switch. My X-55 is nearly identical to the X-56, with the only difference as far as I can tell being I have a button instead of an analog on the right stick lower thumb position. I'm still fleshing out my "shift states" (the M1-3 modes) and intend to use them for different roles such as mining or ground vehicles.....not sure yet how they'll end up. The software lets me change the curves and sensitivities in a bit of a better fashion with the graphical representation of the curves, and quickly rebind the buttons / switches by function i.e selecting landing gear or ESP toggle from a drop down without having to cross reference and manually rebind keys so much. Might be worth looking into. Although the initial setup can be a bit of a headache, once you build the loadouts you can switch them quicker and easier and you gain access to all those extra button sets. I'll gladly share my profile with you once I finish it, if you're interested. Thanks for sharing this video, it's definitely helped me get a few better ideas on how I'd like my setup to flow and get it tweaked to work a lot better, I think!

And I also need to make an updated version of this video, cuz I have changed a few of my keybinds now that capacitors are in. But I'm just so freaking busy. I actually hired a person in the Philippines to learn how to use the cstone item finder to look up items for me. Probably have her learn Erkul next. Lately if I have any spare time, I want to spend it playing the game. Not messing around with things that are peripheral to the game. I do have my latest keybind profile I think in the pinned comment of the comment thread

Yeah, Herc and Carrack. Many times the Carrack will have both landing gear halfway off the pad. No room for error

Yeah the colors changed especially the shoulders in patch 17. I was going to show this armor off to a new friend the other day and then it vanished in a 30k error. I did not do a character reset but it suddenly reappeared

Yeah the photos on the sales page don't look great, but once you see it for real... I even got the nox one, and I don't even own a nox... But I will soon. 😉

@@LordTiberius52 I didn't know you had to set it to cruise control. I thought the thrusters on throttle would keep it there or allow me to increase 🤔. I really love this game but it's a very confusing with all the stuff it's very involved.

@@pigskinrode0 yeah, huge learning curve. That's why most of my videos are either designed to help new players or show how to save lots of money with the Warbond CCU system. But so many things have changed since my last tutorial video that I need to do a new one. As for cruise control, it actually makes sense that sometimes you want it on, but sometimes you want to use short bursts of thrust. Especially in decoupled mode or when taking off and landing.

I'm intending to do an updated video and include the latest bindings link soon. Because with capacitors I had to change a few bindings.

I was on my brand new computer I built last week at for 2 and a 1/2 plus hours just trying to get off the ground the only thing I could do was turn the power one for the ship and a couple things but the ship never went off the ground FML lol

@@pigskinrode0 ship powered on? I actually made that mistake a couple of weeks ago.. The power was on, but somehow the engines were off. I thought I was somehow completely out of fuel. And I couldn't get the station to refuel me. I reclaimed my Connie because I that was the only thing I could think to do.. I mentioned it in a FB group. Someone said "your engines were probably off." Turns out they were right. I went back to the pad and turned off the engines... And it was just like before. Turned them on, and it flew fine.

That's my argument about Ballistics. Lasers, on the other hand, disperse. I can't remember for sure, but as I recall, a 1/4 Inch laser on earth has a 1 mile diameter by the time it reaches the moon.

I think it depends on what you are using them for. I use the one as a zoom. I don't think I use any of the others anymore.

Thank you. Yeah. I've been meaning to update this video with some keybind changes I've made. Ever since power management and capacitors came into the game, I've changed a few things. But let me jump on the computer right now. I will try to answer the question if I understand it correctly.

Thanks for watching. I'll try to make an update soon for 3.14. I'm sure adjusting the power triangle for Capacitors will become a big factor. I've been considering giving VTOL (keyboard k) it's own spot. That wasn't a thing when I set this up initially. Missile operator mode and scanner mode will need a place. But I've got lots of unused buttons.

Mostly relevant. I've changed maybe 2 or 3 bindings. (I think I put afterburners on the right stick pinky and weapons 2 on the left thumb button. Because that works better with a Khartu-Al. Also the in game change of countermeasures required that the previously assigned chaff/flare have become toggle countermeasures / launch countermeasures. And I think I added balance shields to click-in on the right thumbstick.) The throttle is such that if you have the right throttle at max (thurst limiter) and activate cruze control [C] then the left throttle acts as a throttle. If you deactivate [C] then the left throttle acts as a speed limiter and the right thumbstick becomes your forward/backward thrusters. I'll try to put my latest keybinds on Dropbox tonight and put a link in this thread. Save you the time of setting them manually. Also. I'll try to do a video soon, basically like this, but updated. Also showing how to Set the correct inversions. I spent 6 months where the limiters were 100% at full BACK because, silly me, I couldn't find the correct inversion page.

Down in the lower right corner where it says mouse, click it and it changes to game pad, or controller (can't remember) click again for joystick 1 (might say flightstick or HOTAS, can't remember) click it again for Joystick 2. Now with 3.12 they have changed the interface so I can't tell you exactly where, but it should be somewhere under flight controls movement. Find speed limiter ABS. and thrust limiter ABS. double click each and move the axis you want to set. I'll try to play with it next week, maybe make a short video. I'll also try to upload a copy of my latest keybinds file to Dropbox and post a link. Let me know how it goes
