yes you can easily, drag and drop material OP on your FBX, and done :)

Fun tutorial, I can't wait to finish it. At 5:05 when I use colormap and normal map on the MAT, the Phong turns black (and so does the Geo), so then I can't see the noise mapped to the render. I've double checked all the starting parameters. What do I need to do to fix this? I would appreciate the help, thanks.

thanks for your comment :) did you create the Light Comp? also you can check your Noise Top parameters, like offset or monochrome... I think you should click on the Blue button in the right bottom corner of the Transform Sop (check this part of the video - 7:05)

you can use the "Bounds" section in "Group" Sop, after that, you should set your Group name on the "fixed point group" section in Spring Sop.

ik this is 2 years later but hopefully u can still help. I tried setting a group, and the Spring sop keeps saying “invalid group”, any way to fix this?

@@speclite000 hmmm. i think you should check your Group Sop parameters like: Group Name, Entity(in this case should be set on points)

keep it going man! good tutorial, i just started using this program and its really good, if you let me just suggest one thing, add compression and EQ to your voice, so that its a little clearer, cheers!
