Thank you! As a 61 year old I am re-learning how to market my business. After 40 years of general contracting in an era that was always word of mouth, I have stepped into a new world. You made that world understandable for me. Closed the doors on contracting and in the process of going strictly shop and furniture making. Thanks again!

Awesome. I'm glad this helped in some ways. It is definitely a new world of marketing. I threw a lot of money at ads and so on without understanding them completely. Very glad you enjoyed it!

If you built the mold right and had it sealed right you wouldn't have to go through all those extra steps seems like to me it's a waste of time

There's no rule against trying different ways. You can do whatever you like in your shop.

Do you seal your edges before you deep pour?? Is it a necessity??
@liqwoodforest
@liqwoodforest 5 ай бұрын
I have done with and without. Honestly, I have not seen a huge difference in curing. The idea of sealing edges is to limit bubbles releasing while your epoxy cures. If you pour with sealed edges, you have to scuff them up after sealing or your edges won't bond.

What if i deep pour before the seal cures while its still sticky? It should bond to that right?

Hey nice job. What did you end up finishing it with?

I like using Odie's oil but I actually used a car wax finish on the epoxy for the glossy look
