Hey thank u for the walkthrough! It really helped me understand the UCLA enrollment system 😊 I have a few questions about the enrollment process, it would be sooo helpful if u could answer these questions for me🙏 Do you have to press every single button of each classes when the pass time starts? Also, am I supposed to click the pencil icon of the discussion session to enroll the class? (I saw you click the bottom pencil icon, which was the one for the discussion session, but not the main? class) Lastly, is the enrollment really intense enough that I should set a server clock to click the “enroll” as soon as possible? I was never able to find any of these precise information on the school website or anywhere 😢,, I am going as an exchange student from Korea this fall, and it is really difficult to get a grasp of all the new system of UCLA. Once again, thank you for your video :)

I'm planning at some point of my university going to an Apple Internship as a Software Engineer (or as a developer, as long as I help develop macOS I'm good), probably even get a full time job there for a few years after graduating, and before making my own company. With that introduction, I'm really excited because of how good it seems so far from other people who had an internship too. I have a few questions from this video: 1. Do you have to attend the offices? And if so, is it at the donut or the Infinite Loop? 2. Do they give you a Mac if you don't have one? 3. How long does it last?

You can get a one-room apartment with its own bath/kitchenette/laundry in the same area for 300,000 KRW if you have the 5,000,000 KRW as the deposit money. I suppose the deposit money is the issue for most.
@aquagamer12128 ай бұрын
Most people don’t have that kind of money.

?????usuallly its 10,000,000 KRW in deposit and 700,000-800,000 per month and over 800,000 for newly built apartments. A one-room unit with 300,000 KRW / month in Seoul, especially in the places where universities are clustered, is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Nice video! Thanks a lot for the great insights into Crimson. Do you know something about the other goshiwons, as a comparison? :)
@caranguyen11 ай бұрын
My friend stayed at another goshiwon on Anam-ro (main street bordering Korea University), and I think it was located between GS25 and CU. I don't have any details on the pricing, but she mentioned that they didn't have a big communal area or social culture like Crimson House.

Does anyone know whether it would be possible for a 17 year old to stay at a goshiwon? Because I'll do a language program in seoul for a few weeks and want to live in a goshiwon during that time but I am not sure if there is an age requirement
@naraeangelic10 ай бұрын
Some can be pretty particular about being under 18, but I've heard of some 17-year-olds getting rooms. You'd just have to look around.

UCLA was very hard. If I could do it all over, I would go to a Cal state or another easy school. I loved the friendships I made and the dorm life but classes killed me and it was the first time in my life I failed a class despite studying my ass off.

@caranguyen Жыл бұрын
I applied for a dorm, but the spots ran out. However, the dorms at KU are on a massive hill, and my friends mentioned that they had to walk up for a long time and felt discouraged to go out sometimes. On the other hand, my goshiwon was conveniently located right across the street from KU, so I only had to walk <5 minutes to reach campus. There's definitely pros and cons to each!
