Hola Leonardo, se trata de un trozo de placa para soldar componentes electronicos, un tubo de cobre y un rayo de bicicleta afinado en un extremo. Recortas la placa de la forma de la parte trasera del motor, haces un orificio justo en la entrada de aire del motor y sueldas allí el tubo de bronce/cobre (es lo mismo), luego introduces el rayo en el tubo soldado y comienzas a experimentarlo. Nice job! Cox also made a muffler, the QT engine, but it cut performance quite a bit.

Gracias Cristian, es un puente en el tiempo, momentos en donde uno pegaba la nariz en las vidrieras de los comercios y la imaginación volaba!...la revista LUPIN y toda esa cantidad de cosas hermosas de pibe...sí, dicen que es uno de los mejores de la serie...capaz lo vuelo, pero el mareo va a ser terrible, jajaj...otro abrazo para vos!

@@MauricioB71 Hola, es un lujo tener recuerdos con estos motores y con el aeromodelismo en general. Cox recomendaba volar los aviones con líneas muy muy cortas. Como 7 metros. Eso por que habían algunos modelos que volaban muy poco. Pero este Petete 19 le puedes poner líneas de 10 metros facilmente y no te vas a marear nada!

@@a.hernandez7282 Bueno la valvula de cierre en el multiple ayuda a que el motor regule de manera firme y pareja. Entre otras cosas ayuda a la presion interior del motor haciendo que pueda succionar combustible. Hace unos días un aficionado, comento que tambien ayuda a mantener la temperatura interior de combustion de la bujía, todo esto es para el ralenti del motor.

Hola, tiene bujía, (Glow Plug), bujía incandescente, se aplica tensión eléctrica y una vez que arranca se quita la fuente de alimentación, la combustión interna del motor interactua con la bujía y así se mantiene encendido.

Hola Ramón, sabes que jugando con el aro de aceleración olvide colocar el medidor de RPM!...en breve mido y comparto. En el video anterior estoy con una bipala, supera las 15000 rpm sin aro de restricción.

Muy buen trabajo! Hace poco restauré uno igual, no tuve que fabricarle piezas, pero el pistón estaba casi soldado al cilindro, me costó muchísimo desmontarlo sin romperlo, pensé que iba a quedar desinflado, pero anda fenómeno! Perdón por la intromisión, wrench se le dice a la herramienta (llave fija o llave francesa por ej) y key es llave de cerradura (yo también las reciclo) Saludos!

Very Nice Custom work!, and stunning low idle. I just picked up a Tatone #11611 .049-.051 muffler to try with my Cox International R/C throttle body Tee Dee setup. They say the Tatone works the best with a Throttle body with good low idle with Tee Dee stuff. The Old guy at the field said not to idle a .049 too low for too long or it will overheat. I hand mix my fuel which plays a big part. It's going on a lazer cut kit Q-Tee with custom ailerons. My 3rd Q-Tee with a .049. Still have the first one I bought. The 2nd one I bought decided he had enough one day and packed up and headed south, never to be seen again(radio lock). 3rd times a Charm?, and with more Love?. Hmm.

People don't realize how much fun a Cox .049 can be. My only control line experience was with the Cox Apache, a wonderful design with an autogyro attribute. I stopped flying it when I found out I bought the LAST replacement parts for it. But I start it up time to time. I still fly their free flight helicopters and flying saucers. Tremendous fun.
