I'm 74 sitting here listening my favorite group . It just doesn't get any better than this. It's truly sad that Del Shannon didn't become the 6th Wilbury. I think the group would have a little better, sadly, we'll never know.

So sad how Mr. Shannon’s life tragically ended. There were rumors about him joining The Wilburys after Roys passing.In 1990 he was pushing himself hard to finish a new record. Under stress his doctor prescribed him Prozac his wife said his personality changed immediately.Fifteen days later he committed suicide by shooting himself at his home.Would have loved it if Del was still around today RIP Del,Roy,Tom and George!!
