They are both great balls, i find the xv to high of a ball flight for me. I am zx7 through out the bag from driver down to PW , im a lefty so i dont get the A wedge so mizzuno t22 50 and 58, rtx zipcore 54. Im not a srixon head im new to golf i play what was best at the fittings and i go and try new clubs every time they come out but yet the zx7s are still by far the best clubs including the driver. It has so many adjustable options but yet they are simple adjustments, i have all the weights from 4g to 12g so i have a ton of fitting options that r not confusing at all unlike other brands, plus srixon head covers are so much easier to put on and take off. Just wish the hybrid head cover was same concept as the driver and woods with the little slit/handle on it

I believe that’s what I said I had. Rotate the 2 iron, 3 hybrid, & 5 wood. However I’ve recently relied on the hybrid which has basically found a pretty permanent spot in the bag leaving the other 2 on the sidelines

10lbs I go back and fort between 10 & 12 depending on what’s available. Once tournaments are completed for the year I’ll go up in weight a little more

A lot of golfers overestimate how far they hit their irons. You can’t go by your maxed out number. Sure, maybe you CAN hit an 8 iron 175, but on average it may be 165 (163 many times and 175 one time). Therefore, you need to compile an average. Hit 10 balls on the course with each iron one of these days on a quiet afternoon, and find your average with each iron. You may even find that you need to change the loft on an iron by a degree or two. Saying that you’re consistently missing your number by being short makes me believe these are mental mistakes-not REALLY knowing your average number for each club.

Your backswing is violently fast. Backswing doesn’t hit the ball. Try one swing slow on backswing to the top and then explode. Just one swing.

Interesting how your driving iron, hybrid and 5 wood are all around 18-19* degrees. Which one do you carry in the bag?

I swap them out depending on course/weather conditions. Course has thick rough, I’ll play hybrid or 5 wood. Windy & firm, I’ll play 2 iron. Stuff like that. Those 3 rotate in and out of the bag. First time I’ve done this so it’ll be kind of an experimental thing for me this year. All will go to the course with me for a practice round and day of tournament. If weather plays a factor the day of the tournament, it’ll help factor in the decision on which club goes in the bag that day.

Curious how you like the AMT’s versus the standard X100? Do they load differently, in your opinion or just lighter throughout the set? Ty!

Overall I like them more. Slightly lighter than the standard X100 shafts. However, I just switched to the KBS C-Taper Lite 115 X

So it turns out I don’t actually hit my 7 iron that far. I think with the simulator the conditions were set to where you got the max out of whatever you hit. I hit my 7 iron around 183. All my irons are around 7-10 yards apart.

I hit the ZX7’s and the spin was the reason I didn’t buy them. Normal shots were fine, but I hit a slight pull draw, the spin dropped to 3900 on a 7i, and the ball went forever. Currently gaming the Wilson Staff CB’s and very happy with the decision.

Just played all 5 courses a couple of weeks ago. Best money I've ever spent!! Payne's was beautiful. Never seen a course as beautiful as this one. Pared the 19th!!

Not a pro player here but this "competition" was unfair and btw the last putt with the Cleveland you raised your head too soon. Having head still after you make the contact is really important especially on short putts. Even pros on PGA tour dont move their head on short putts until it hits the hole. Rather listen it drops than watch it miss.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll remember that when I’m getting ready for my next professional event. The video was mainly for fun. I had already decided on a putter before I made this video. Funny enough, neither putter is in my bag currently. As for it not being fair, I’m not quite sure how it wasn’t fair, but okay.
