Youre right in New Zealand we grow up playing rugby from about age 5 boys and girls together at about 10 you start to wear boots/cleets and girls start playing only girls.Concussion is slightly less than NFL but is definitely a concern the thing about rugby if you go to tackle or be tackled you must put in 100% commitment inti it or youll get hurt if you chicken out thats when you get hurt well mostly anyway sometimes you just get smashed and sometimes you smash others.

Highschool and College are basically the same in NZ. University is University, not college. Haka is used for many occasions. It's not a joke. It can be a challenge or a sign of respect at a funeral, retirement, weddings , graduations etc.

I'm South African and a Springbok supporter who also look after the Boks and Stormers when on tour in Australia - We are HARD Core and even the Kiwi's are worried about our class and brutality - On the Field we enforce the game with a win at all cost attitude. The All Blacks and Boks have a mutual respect 2 of the best on earth but on the pitch it's war and a war we often WIN....

New zealand is one of the most well known countries for their domestic violence. You walk down a street and youll here a man beating a women and his kids. Its become such a norm here we even use jake the muss as a saying. More often than not it is maori men who are abusers

The sad part here is that Grace, being for decades a recipient of Jakes violence, vicariously kills Uncle Bully herself: she knew exactly how Jake would react and manipulated him in order to get revenge for Grace. The cycle of domestic and family violence.

Bro, sis, I'm a Maori from NZ. I've watched a few American Reaction To Haka videos before, and I've really enjoyed them - they've been awesome to watch; they've all been respectful and objective, and they've all put themselves in the right frame of mind so that they may do justice to both their reactions and the mana of the culture they're watching. However, your reaction (both of you) totally disgusts me. How can you say you respect my culture and traditions while you're just treating it as a big laugh! It's as though you decided 'let's get stoned and have a laugh at the funny faces of these schoolboys'. You pause the video every 5 seconds and just laugh and point at them! Making ignorant and uninformed comments about what they're doing, how they're doing it, how they should be doing it, who should or shouldn't be up there doing it.... C'mon bro/sis, how the hell would you know? The nature of your whole reaction video says a lot about you 2 and the type of people you are - in a not very flattering way. Shallow, close-minded, ignorant, disrespectful, for example. Those school boys (12 to 17 year olds) are honouring the retirement of a long-term teacher in a manner only practiced in my country. Who the hell are you to mock our cultural practices? You 2 piss me off big time, and I find every one of your comments offensive and insulting. Just stay away from my culture. Make fun of your own...
