Thanks for sharing and the comparisons are helpful. It is nice to get perspective. Love 7+ day cruises! We don't live near a port so we always have to fly and that just adds to the cost and time off so when we go we do longer cruises. We have our first 4 day next spring out of San Diego - booked it after watching one of your videos 😊

Another great video. Yes, I love pineapple on a Hawaiian pizza. It's awesome. I really like your new office space in the pool house, but am wondering where your Mac Studio went? As I told you before, I love my Studio, and especially love being able to run Windows 11 under macOS so I can do work stuff in Windows and other stuff in the Mac. Best of both worlds on one machine. Also nice because you can set up VMs for different things, and if one goes down, it doesn't affect the others. OK, I'm gonna get off my Mac soapbox now. Hope you all had a great weekend and am looking forward to your next video.

I was given a laptop that I need to use for my job. Can’t use my Mac, even with virtual machine (security issues). It’s OK. I grew up on PC, but I’ve come to love Mac 😊

Favorite memory of ours is leaving a church event at nite around 8:30pm and discussing what to eat. We agreed on a Fried chicken dinner from the Plaza Inn on Main Street and drove straight there (as pass holders). I was in a suit and she in a dress and we ate, went on a few rides and took some great pictures in our "Sunday best". 👔👞👗👠 *Binging through Millerland*

thank you for speaking about nyc in terms of feeling safe and how you negotiated the city. I've lived here for 40 years, and never had a problem personally. you have to watch and be careful, etc. but we get demonized as a city in terms of safety way too much. it has been exaggerated the past couple of years especially. it means a lot to have folks enjoy all the fun things the city has to offer. watching this video inspired me to see some things in the city I haven't seen. very cool. so glad you had such a good time here! please come back. there is always more stuff to see. Oh!-I love that you saw Broadway shows. yay for Broadway!

I’m so glad you are trying Royal. I’ve never done a Disney Cruise, but I have no desire to even after all the cruise vlogs I’ve watched with all my fave vloggers. Having grown kids, Disney doesn’t hold the same appeal for me. We LOVE Royal and can’t imagine cruising with anyone else. Enjoy! You’re going to love it so much more. Disney is so overpriced and you get so much more out it’s Royal!

If you ever go back you have to go inside the 911 museum! I am not a museum type of person, but it is almost reverent and its jaw dropping. Doesn’t matter how many documentaries you’ve seen. There is nothing like it and so worth it! And Ellis Island is pretty cool too!

Great video! Like you, I am an Apple user. All my devices are Apple. I have the Mac Studio with dual monitors and love it. I'm an IT professional, and I work from home a lot. My shop is a Windows shop, but I love how I'm able to boot Windows in a VM without having to leave macOS. I am also an Instant Pot fan and cook a lot in it.

Love my Mac studio with two monitors! Elsa have a MacBook Pro, which is fantastic as well. But a two monitor set up is the way to go!!!

Definitely chilled! I don’t think any of us have ever had it warm or hot. Plus, whip cream wouldn’t stay whipped for too long if it was hot 😂

At that time, I was talking to Adam Legg on a live stream and told him I had planned to sail on the Dream in January for my wife's and I 1st wedding anniversary. He told me to reconsider and go in March with them. I thought about it but like Chris; I had everything planned out. But I did watch you guys, Adam & Sherri, and The Zackmans all in timeline order. Flipping back and forth between channels to make it feel like that whole trip was in real time. It was amazing and through the Leggs thats how I found you guys and Our Z Roll. Been following you guys ever since. 🙂 Its been a pleasure to get to know your family better by *Binging through Millerland.* 😃

Looks like you all had a great time. That's awesome. I have 5 Droids from Droid Depot. 1 traditional R2-D2, I built a R5-D4, he is the red R2 unit from A New Hope that the Skywalkers bought before they bought R2. R5 has a pretty cool back story, if you care to look it up. a traditional BB-8, and I built a R5-P17. She is the Droid Obi-Wan had in his ship before the buzz droids killed her, I also have a C-3P0 that is sized to go with the R2 units, so it is pretty large. 3P0 has been discontinued, so he is no longer available. Well, I bet that is more than you ever wanted to know 🙂

I’ve cruised Royal a lot and I noticed glancing at the Costal menus that there are not too many differences from the main dining room. The food is probably prepared when ordered and not massed produced as it is the dining room.

That’s interesting. The fact that they have a kitchen right there means that they don’t need to mass produce the food for thousands of people, which usually would mean that it should be better. We really enjoyed the food on the ship!

Juicy pear is my sister’s favorite Jelly Belly! She will eat them until she gets sick. I love JBs but I’m the weird type who loves the novelty flavors like black pepper 😂 I have such great memories of going to the Fairfield factory! My grandma was obsessed with the buttered popcorn and it used to be that you couldn’t buy them alone anywhere but at the factory, so every single time I would spend all my souvenir money on a huge bag of popcorn beans to surprise her with.

Another great video. I used to live in western PA before moving to the Central Valley and I second the vote for Cedar Point. It is amazing, especially if you like roller coasters. I saw you sampling the black pudding from the English Breakfast you had, and was wondering if you knew it was made out of blood. I've never had the nerve to try it. Can't wait for your videos. They are awesome.

Sometimes it’s fun to try things when you don’t know what they’re made out of 😂 we found out soon afterwards! We may try Cedar point someday, I just don’t know if we’re ever gonna be in that part of the country 🤷🏻♂️

@@AdventuresinMillerland I have a friend I work with here and he takes three weeks every year and does a driving tour with his family to the east coast and back again, just to hit some amazing amusement parks just for their roller coasters, and he never misses Cedar Point. I get so jealous sometimes! :-)

I am also a CPA and totally use cruise math 😂 and yes to juicy pear - probably my favorite too. So glad you were all able to enjoy the ship! Hibachi is so fun and good. I think you would all love going to Japan and having okonomiyaki (hint for a possible future trip) 😉

Cruise math is the best, because it means you’re on a cruise 🤩 we absolutely would love to go to Japan (and not just to go to Disney), but there’s so many other places we also want to go. It will happen, just not sure when!

lol, I’m accountant - I do girl maths, cruise maths and any other type of maths. I’ll quite happily spend money on a cruise/holiday but find it hard to spend money on stuff at home.

Those lines are actually caused by the type of lighting and happens with photography and videography.

This happens because LED lights don't constantly stay on, but instead flicker at a very rapid rate. The camera's shutter speed or resolution rate is fast or high enough to catch these gaps in the light which causes interference to appear as horizontal black lines.

@Sophy_Bagel It sounds like you may be having a tough day. We’re sorry about that. As our friend Carol mentioned, it’s not the camera, it’s an issue with the lighting in that space, usually LED lights in restaurants or in a stateroom 😊

How does cell reception work on the cruise? Your family always goes their separate ways and I’m assuming you check in and meet up using your phones? Or is it like the ‘90s when you had to meet at a certain statue in a certain hallway between 10 and 10:05?

our rule is have fun, don’t do anything stupid, and if we don’t see each other till dinner, that’s OK. Most days we do connect with each other, but it’s spur of the moment and not too planned out. That’s just how we cruise - we want to give our girls some freedom. They’ve learned that trust 😊 You don’t get cell reception on a cruise ship. It helped that we had Internet included with our suite package. Both Disney and Royal offer the ability to message each other through the app without paying for Internet, so that’s great!
