Awesome video as always. Quick question do you happen to have a spare aluminium neck I could purchase as I damaged mine during the electronics install. Many thanks
@zjunlimited24 күн бұрын
Thanks. Sorry to hear about the install mishap but no I do not have any spare part to sell. Check out Veracity Labs website as they are starting to stock spare parts. No necks so far but maybe in the future.

owning some product from nomatic and while they have some quirks, I always go to them for various travels. I see the design and features got updated (more like removed features like the tablet compartment on the travel model). They definitely need some updates though like on the new versions of competition backpack, yet they are trusty, solid and consistent companions.

5 year Nomatic back pack user here. Used the V1 and V2 travel pack 20L daily and heavily. The zipper track WILL fail over the years, especially the curvy part of the main compartment and the laptop compartment near the top. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE the Nomatic backpack and have purchased a second one. All two bags (V1 and V2) are REPLACED FOR FREE under the Lifetime Warranty. the customer support said that they are aware of the zipper track problem and are working on a new version of the bag that will address it. But the release date is unknown. If you have a old/current version of the bag, they will replace it with the same version (if in stock) or newer

You’re a legend man. Most videos are either 4 years old and no longer relevant or does a bad job comparing. This was the best video so far. Now I’m thinking about also getting the travel pack since there’s a sweet deal for it on Costco next. After 4 months of owning and using it is there anything you wanna add or warn us about?

Great and very thorough breakdown! I just put together the ESB Falcon set à la carte on Newtype, as the boxed sets were still sold out. It's been a little difficult to find good painting chart/reference but have made it to the primer and basecoat stage and will be diving into colors and detail painting/weathering this week! Thanks again for the overview.

I was so excite when I got my REI Co op eBike with that intense blue. They told me is was ok to store it half charged over the winter. Last month with it got up to 60degrees for a few days I plugged it is to get a full charge... haven't been able to turn it on since then. Battery is fully charged. The display will not turn on. Any ideas to help??

Probably best to contact REI. They have pretty good customer support and should be able to help. That said, we’ve had this bike idle for several weeks at a time without any issues with charge (both battery in and out) and the display has always turn on. Double check the battery is fully seated onto the bike.

The lazy Susan and the back stop have really inspired me. Great build well done. I agree one door open is enough for display purposes. Can you let me know what solutions you would consider so that the doors would open less abruptly please. I hope your channel grows exponentially 🎉
@zjunlimited6 ай бұрын
A few things to consider…1) repeated opening and closing seems to help “loosen” the mechanism, if that doesn’t work, 2) try applying a gentle thin lubricant to the latch mechanism, or 3) try shaving down the mechanism using sandpaper to remove sections that may be “catching”. Otherwise keep in mind it’s only a $100 toy and not perfect…but we have a Camtono!! That said, after using (1) I’m satisfied with how it works for now.

I just found 1 of these torch kits still in it's UNOPENED package. I could tell appeared 2 be from the 70s or 80s & pulled it from a pile of stuff that was going to get tossed in trash or taken 2 the dump after a clean out of my In- Laws garage..Guess I'm the only 1 who saw it & realized it might be a useful thing to have & scooped it up!

Oh yeah,4got 2 say,but the pkg.says: Archer Gas Brazing Torch Kit (Pinpoint 5000°F Flame Provides Precise, Instantaneous Heat.....& a bunch of small print details/sugg.uses)..It's got 2 extra canisters the torch body w/a nozzel u attach when u open it I think & it says model B at top right corner on it,a holder thing for the accessories & torch storage,2 extra smaller pcs.that must be the needles mentioned in a description on the back(that goes into a little bit of detail about how the torch works)& that I think fit down into the top of the gas cylinders+get inserted in2 the nozzle somehow 2 maybe!?,& a pre loaded canister in the torch body already...I have a soldering gun kit already,but this looks cool..Idk if I should sell or keep it...
