From listening to this version of One Winged Angel, the brass trumpets and strings remind me so much of the classic Jimmy Neutron TV series. So nostalgic. After peeking at game files, it seems that each "Ambience" track music is result of small chuncks of files that are randomly played so they give unique music on each playthrough and, at the same time, they can promptly switch to combat sound cues.

FF7 is definitely better than 8 but only by a thin margin however, when it comes to OST 8 is way better than 7. Coming from a non-bias fan of both game

I only played this game on PC when it came out and it still is a good game. The soundtrack takes me back to know how hard it was to grind for the gear. I love this!!!

the first time i played the game i wasn't a fan of the graphics, but after playing some of the other "rpg's" on the market this game was most def massive

As I use that classical music before going to sleep at night, I imagine myself in the mountains at night and then The Lord, The God of Israel, is shining in front of me and the angels are standing beside Him. In meditation, God asked me to say all the sins I had ever committed and I immediately said them. After that, God asked one of His angels to pour holy water on my head as a sign of forgiveness of sins and God asked another of His angels to wear a white robe as a sign that I was clean from sin as at birth. After that, I imagined again in my meditation that God had told His two angels to take me to Heaven. When we arrived in Heaven, God brought me together with all my middle and high school friends and my family, and in Heaven we prayed together and humbled our hearts in front of God who was sitting on His radiant holy throne.

Might already have been mentioned, but to fill in a few gaps in your list, Unknown 1 is the tune that plays in the short scene where the beam from the Sister Ray cracks against the barrier surrounding the crater, and Unknown 2 plays in Rufus's final moments just afterwards. Both are part of The Makou Cannon is Fired ~ Shinra Explodes on the soundtrack, and it's interesting to see that they were cut up for the PC version.
