Men are allowed to cry. As a matter of fact, if they do that now and then and show their real humanity .... they're more masculine to me.

I loved both of your 'reactions' to this. I'm subscribing because you didn't need words or analysis. You did all you needed to do, showing your real, raw, speechless reaction and heart. You don't look old enough to have served 23+ years in the military. To 'thank you for your service' just doesn't do it. Thank you for loving your country enough to help keep us free, particularly when there are so many enjoying the rewards of so many fine men and women's actions without knowing, understanding, or valuing them. I'm glad you made it through and hope you're continuing a happy, fulfilled life now with lots of love surrounding you.

I am just so tired of RUSSIA, CHINA, NORTH KOREA, and any Terrorist State causing GLOBAL TROUBLE. When I hear this song, I just feel like America and her Allies should put our FIGHTERS in the SKY and BOOTS on the Ground to DESTROY EVIL!

Although I'm Canadian, I want to thank you for your service to your country. I sincerely believe that military veterans of every country aren't sufficiently rewarded for their service. Just by the way, Tim Foust (the bass) does fund raising for veterans charities and is often joined by Austin Brown (long curly reddish hair). You don't have to be American to appreciate the patriotism and poetry of this song. Thank you for playing it and your reactions to it.

Ok, I know it's been a while since this video was posted but I have a question installed mine just fine, that was 2 years ago, now I have a problem that it seems thousands of people are having, which is that the internal battery is about dead now, it works fine when it's warm but when it's called it's dead, when someone rings the doorbell and the chime goes off the nest disconnects and shits off for about 30 seconds and then comes back on, would a USB cable hooked to the USB port substitute for the battery so this way it won't shut off when it's rung? The easy solution is to turn off the chime, I have over a dozen of Google's speakers and displays but I'd rather have the che working, can it be done?

Lee sounds great for 75! Home Free and the USAF band were great. Did you hear Adam’s (beatboxer) flyover sound at the end? Tremendous. Thank you for your service. Home Free just released a new patriotic album, Land of the Free. The title track Land of the Free was written by Tim, the bass. It’s good.

The beatboxer was Adam Rupp and he's amazing! Home Free has a new CD that just came out called "Land Of The Free" which has this song and all the songs are patriotic and the title track is an original written by their bass Tim Foust. They have made several videos worth checking out. They are acapella, but you don't miss the instruments.

This song came out when I was in USAF basic training, and my TI used to play it every night, and sing it when we marched. I've been retired since 2004, but the song still makes me tear up, and to see it done this way -- which is the best performance of the song ever IMHO -- is a gift that means a lot. Lee is spectacular, Home Free is amazing, and the USAF band rounds it out perfectly. This one goes on my permanent playlist.

Hey brother I just got mine and I'm waiting for the adapter.. question ⁉️ so I can just hook it up to the app and use my phone I don't need to hook it up to the chime or nothing?
@BigSwedesExcellentAdventure
@BigSwedesExcellentAdventure 3 жыл бұрын
You don't have to hook it up to a chime if you don't want to or if you don't have one. I use my Nest Hub and Minis throughout the house as my "chime"...but your phone will give you notifications too through the Nest app when it sees someone or someone rings the bell.

My dad retired after 22 years of serving in the United States Army. When I was little we used to go to the roller rink on Hickam Air Force base in Hawaii and right before it closed they would play this song while we all sang it. I always tear up when I hear this song. Thank you for your service. 🙏🏼
